Father: Give him a good dictionary.
Avijit: He has a number of dictionaries.
Father: Then give him a T-shirt.
Avijit: He doesn't like T-shirts. I've never seen him wearing a T-shirt.
Father: Then do one thing. Give him a lovely novel.
Avijit: Good idea! I'll go and buy them from the New Market.
Father: Don't forget to buy a greeting card.

Librarian: How did you lose it?
Student: Sir, my sister's marriage ceremony came off last week. Many people came to our house. There was total disorder in the house.
Librarian: Where did you keep the book?
Student:  On my study table.
Librarian: I see. someone must have taken the book.
Student: Maybe, But what shall do now, Sir?
Librarian: Well, you may pay the price of the book. Or, you may replace it with a new book.
Student: Sir, I will pay the price. I'll bring the money tomorrow.
